Evan Alvord, PsyD graduated with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University in 2008. For 14 years, Evan worked at the Department of Veterans Affairs providing home based mental health care to Veterans in private homes, assisted living, adult foster homes, skilled nursing and memory care settings. In 2018 he started Rogue Psych Consultants in order to provide mental health services and consultation to the broader community in multiple Southern Oregon skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Specialties include dementia care, caregiver and family support, psychoeducation, risk assessments and consultation with other medical service providers.

Leilani Alvord earned her Master's in Teaching at George Fox University and spent 14 years teaching grades K-3. In 2021, she transitioned to running the daily operations of Rogue Psych Consultants. Leilani is an alumna of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB Small Business Program and a participant in SOU’s Small Business Development Center.

Amy Twiest, LCSW has been working in the Rogue Valley since 2005. In 2003, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a master's degree in social work. Following graduation, she has been working as a clinical social worker specializing in the care and treatment of individuals and families with complex mental health, behavioral and medical challenges. Amy has been providing clinical care to clients with an emphasis in geriatrics in a variety of settings ranging from their home to skilled nursing facilities. She has been delivering integrative evidenced based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy and supportive therapy. Specialties include the treatment of depression, PTSD, anxiety, dementia, caregiver burden, and risk evaluation, offering consultation with a range of medical professionals.

As a trauma informed therapist, I help my clients find healing through building upon the innate resiliencies we all possess. No single approach is right for every individual and as such, I have a background in multiple modalities including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, psychodynamic, and attachment-based therapist. My style is compassionate and client-centered; I embody authenticity and genuineness and strive to learn alongside you in the therapeutic process. I have found that both humor and play are critical components towards healing and personal growth, and I incorporate these concepts in my practice with individuals of all ages.

Danielle Barth, LCSW graduated from the University of Georgia with her Masters in Social Work. She has over a decade of clinical experience working in settings that include residential inpatient units, in-home care, schools, disaster-relief, and a variety of healthcare locations with all ages. Danielle specializes in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Dementia, Grief and Loss, and Trauma. In her free time, Danielle loves to create music, travel, and play with her puppy.

Matt Blakeley, PsyD has been working in the Rogue Valley for over 16 years. He obtained his Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology (Argosy University-Phoenix Campus) and completed both his internship and post-doctoral residencies within the VA healthcare system. His areas of specialty include Geriatrics, Trauma-focused therapy, substance use disorders, and health/primary care psychology. Dr. Blakeley’s professional interests include Sport Psychology, Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic psychotherapy, and Healthy Aging/Longevity. Dr. Blakeley is also a Behavioral Health officer in the Oregon National Guard and spends his weekends ensuring the mental wellness and preparedness of soldiers. In his personal life, he enjoys martial arts training, playing the drums, spending time with his wife and two daughters, and spending as much time on the Oregon coast as possible. Dr. Blakeley is passionate about his work with patients and is committed to helping them achieve their mental and physical health goals.

Amber Brand, LCSW got her license in Oregon in 2000 after graduating with a Masters in Social Work in 1996 from New York University. She has worked in community mental health, hospital and facility settings for nearly thirty years. Amber comes to this work with a passion and insight from years of experience and the special quality to truly meet people exactly where they are. She has the unique capacity for flexibility, collaboration and communication that work in this field requires. It is a pleasure to be a consultant with Rogue Psych Consultants and provide these services across the greater Portland area.

Veronica Carmenate, Ph.D. obtained her Doctorate of Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. Dr. Carmenate is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with ten years of experience providing therapeutic services. Throughout her work she has had opportunities to work with families, couples, and individuals of various ages and backgrounds. Dr. Carmenate has provided therapeutic care in a variety of settings such as inpatient and outpatient clinics, nursing facilities, as well as private practice. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, life transitions, relational dynamics, identity, and trauma work. Dr. Carmenate’s approaches her work with intention and care.

Patrice Carrello, Ph.D has been working with adults in nursing home settings throughout her career as a licensed psychologist. She aims to help individuals work through their current health, physical, and emotional situations with a mix of practical ideas and guidance, empathy, and a lot of curiosity and self-exploration health, physical, and emotional situations with a mix of practical ideas and guidance, empathy, and a lot of curiosity and self-exploration.

Kathryn Clements, LCSW is a Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years in practice as a psychotherapist. Kathryn is experienced in working with senior, geriatric and veteran clients in acute hospital settings, short term rehabilitation and long-term care. With a strong background in providing treatment for Eating Disorders, Kathryn also specializes in the treatment of PTSD, CPTSD and trauma with adult clients and provides support for coping with major life transitions, grief and loss.

Carrie Geibel, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her masters degree from the University of Michigan in 2003. Since beginning her work, she has primarily served in medical systems, where she supported individuals and families as they coped with trauma, illness, loss, and other major life transitions through the lifespan. Carrie has worked in both adult and child pediatric primary care settings to provide behavioral health interventions to facilitate improved health outcomes and promote emotional well being. She has additionally provided end of life and bereavement support in the hospice and palliative care settings. These experiences deepened her passion for helping people work through trauma, grief, and the challenges that can feel overwhelming. Carrie focuses on helping clients navigate trauma, grief, and loss through evidence-based practices including ACT, CBT, DBT, brief solution focused, and narrative therapy. She strives to create a compassionate, collaborative space where clients can build coping skills and move forward with greater resilience.

Ben Giesbrecht, PsyD, Neuropsychologist graduated with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University in 2008, specializing in Clinical Neuropsychology. He then completed a two-year residency in Neuropsychology at the St. Louis VA Medical Center in Missouri from 2008-2010. He has been practicing independently in Neuropsychology since 2010, and specializes in adult and geriatric populations, evaluation of dementia, veterans, and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Giesbrecht is licensed in Oregon.

Megan Hartsell is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of experience in healthcare. She began her career in critical care and family practice before discovering her passion for psychiatry, where she has focused her work for the past several years. Megan owns and operates a private psychiatry practice in Bend, Oregon, and also manages psychiatric services at a residential behavioral health facility in Central Oregon. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals of all ages, with a wide variety of mental health complaints. Megan is passionate about helping individuals gain confidence in understanding their mental health and believes that everyone deserves compassionate, individualized care.

Casey Hineline, LMFT, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon and California, dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. She works with clients experiencing trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, relationship concerns, major life transitions, or anyone seeking a supportive space to talk and be heard. Casey is passionate about helping people of all ages find their voice, build confidence, and explore their innermost feelings in a safe and nurturing environment. Known for her honesty, kindness, and acceptance, she fosters a space where clients can openly address their struggles and work toward healing, self-discovery, and stronger connections with themselves and others.

Jessica Long, LCSW received her Masters in Social Work with an emphasis in Gerontology in 2013 from San Jose State University. After graduating she completed a 1 year post masters fellowship focused in Hospice and Palliative Care at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and continues to hold an Advanced Certification in this specialty from the National Association of Social Workers. Jessica has spent her career supporting the behavioral health needs of clients in healthcare settings. She uses Motivational Interviewing, ACT/CBT, and Life Review to engage clients in the therapeutic process. She spends her free time with her family and pets in her ever expanding garden.

Tarama Lukes, LCSW is dedicated to collaborating with individuals to establish realistic and achievable goals. Teresa Schuhmann, LCSW graduated with her Master's in Social Work from Adelphi University in 1996 and a Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care from the University of Washington in 2022. With over two decades of experience as a medical social worker in both inpatient and outpatient settings, she specializes in supporting medically complex patients and their families through critical life transitions. Passionate about palliative care and caregiver advocacy, Teresa is dedicated to providing holistic, compassionate support that honors each person's dignity and fosters strength, clarity, and hope during life's most vulnerable moments.

Ingrid Siadal, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker serving the mid-Willamette Valley. Since completing her Masters of Social Work degree from Portland State University in 2009, her professional background has included work as a therapist, medical social worker, and behavioral health care manager. Ingrid has extensive knowledge and experience in working with rural communities, older adults, people with chronic medical conditions, and people with persistent mental illness. She specializes in depression, anxiety, grief and loss, dementia, behavioral interventions, and caregiver support. Christopher Watson, PsyD is a dedicated and compassionate psychologist with experience in an outpatient private group practice. He specializes in the treatment of OCD, anxiety, trauma, and related conditions, utilizing evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Dr. Watson earned his doctoral degree with a health track designation from an APA-accredited university and completed specialized pre-licensure training in an inpatient substance abuse treatment program, the Portland Veterans Affairs Hospital, and intensive outpatient care. He is deeply committed to serving individuals facing complex mental health challenges.

Sarah Weis, LCSW graduated from San Jose State University in 2014 with a master's degree in social work. Beginning her career as a child therapist, Sarah eventually moved into medical social work, serving clients in outpatient clinics, home health and hospice. Most recently, Sarah has worked as a social worker in Medicaid, assisting clients in navigating complex medical systems and assisting them in establishing in primary care and mental health support.

Kimberli Wicks, LPC graduated from George Fox University in 2003. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience. Over her career she has worked with a wide variety of populations from young children to at risk youth, unhoused women and adults of all ages. She has received extensive training in trauma, addictions, dual diagnosis, chronic mental health care, attachment and family systems. When not working, she enjoys having fun camping with her three dogs and doing creative projects.
