Evan Alvord

Evan Alvord, PsyD graduated with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University in 2008. For 14 years, Evan worked at the Department of Veterans Affairs providing home based mental health care to Veterans in private homes, assisted living, adult foster homes, skilled nursing and memory care settings. In 2018 he started Rogue Psych Consultants in order to provide mental health services and consultation to the broader community in multiple Southern Oregon skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Specialties include dementia care, caregiver and family support, psychoeducation, risk assessments and consultation with other medical service providers.

Leilani Alvord earned her Master's in Teaching at George Fox University and spent 14 years teaching grades K-3. In 2021, she transitioned to running the daily operations of Rogue Psych Consultants. Leilani is an alumna of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB Small Business Program and a participant in SOU’s Small Business Development Center.

Amy Twiest

Amy Twiest, LCSW has been working in the Rogue Valley since 2005. In 2003, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a master's degree in social work. Following graduation, she has been working as a clinical social worker specializing in the care and treatment of individuals and families with complex mental health, behavioral and medical challenges. Amy has been providing clinical care to clients with an emphasis in geriatrics in a variety of settings ranging from their home to skilled nursing facilities. She has been delivering integrative evidenced based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy and supportive therapy. Specialties include the treatment of depression, PTSD, anxiety, dementia, caregiver burden, and risk evaluation, offering consultation with a range of medical professionals.

Danielle specializes in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Dementia, Grief and Loss, and Trauma. In her free time, Danielle loves to create music, travel, and play with her puppy.

Matt Blakeley,

Matt Blakeley, PsyD has been working in the Rogue Valley for over 16 years. He obtained his Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology (Argosy University-Phoenix Campus) and completed both his internship and post-doctoral residencies within the VA healthcare system. His areas of specialty include Geriatrics, Trauma-focused therapy, substance use disorders, and health/primary care psychology. Dr. Blakeley’s professional interests include Sport Psychology, Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic psychotherapy, and Healthy Aging/Longevity. Dr. Blakeley is also a Behavioral Health officer in the Oregon National Guard and spends his weekends ensuring the mental wellness and preparedness of soldiers. In his personal life, he enjoys martial arts training, playing the drums, spending time with his wife and two daughters, and spending as much time on the Oregon coast as possible. Dr. Blakeley is passionate about his work with patients and is committed to helping them achieve their mental and physical health goals.

Erika Branch, LPC, earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2017. Throughout her career, she has worked with diverse populations across the lifespan, including individuals experiencing homelessness, incarceration, school-based challenges, crisis situations, and co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. Erika utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while recognizing that treatment is not a one-size-fits-all approach. She takes a person-centered approach and believes it is important to meet each individual where they are each day. She understands that everyone’s circumstances are different and strives to provide compassionate, individualized care based on each person’s unique needs and experiences. Outside of work, Erika enjoys spending time with her children and dogs, visiting the beach, taking road trips, and reading.

She has worked in community mental health, hospital and facility settings for nearly thirty years. She has the unique capacity for flexibility, collaboration and communication that work in this field requires. Dr. Carmenate is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with ten years of experience providing therapeutic services. Throughout her work she has had opportunities to work with families, couples, and individuals of various ages and backgrounds. Dr. Carmenate has provided therapeutic care in a variety of settings such as inpatient and outpatient clinics, nursing facilities, as well as private practice. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, life transitions, relational dynamics, identity, and trauma work. Dr. Carmenate’s approaches her work with intention and care.

He then completed a two-year residency in Neuropsychology at the St. Louis VA Medical Center in Missouri from 2008-2010. He has been practicing independently in Neuropsychology since 2010, and specializes in adult and geriatric populations, evaluation of dementia, veterans, and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Giesbrecht is licensed in Oregon.

Megan owns and operates a private psychiatry practice in Bend, Oregon, and also manages psychiatric services at a residential behavioral health facility in Central Oregon. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals of all ages, with a wide variety of mental health complaints. Megan is passionate about helping individuals gain confidence in understanding their mental health and believes that everyone deserves compassionate, individualized care.

Jessica has spent her career supporting the behavioral health needs of clients in healthcare settings.
